Drug Prevention

One of the DFCC’s main missions is to stop alcohol and drug abuse before it starts. Federal funding through the Drug Free Communities Support Program allows for this kind of coalition building and prevention initiatives.

DFC Grant activities include:

• Increase membership and representation in the DFCC coalition.
• Increase communication and media with the community and with members of the coalition. (e-newsletter, PSAs, etc.)
• Increase the number of trained staff and trained coalition members.
